У роботі систематизуються знання у сфері дослідження загроз та ризиків під час вирішення прикладних завдань. Розглянуто концепції дослідження загроз та ризиків та розв'язувані завдання при їх дослідженні. Проаналізовано методи аналізу загроз та методи оцінки ризиків з позицій технократичної концепції. надзвичайна ситуація, катастрофічна подія, техногенний об'єкт, небезпека, загроза, ризик.
