THE POSSIBILITY OF USING CALCIUM CARBONATE AS A CONTROL ADDITIVE SETTING TIME PORTLAND
Abstract
We consider the use of the active calcium carbonate instead of gypsum in the Portland cement and blast-furnace cement to regulatesetting time of these binders. These experiments show that the partial replacement is possible without a loss of construction cements and technical properties is suitable from the standpoint of reducing their cost.
